Choosing and starting a thesis for any subject in college can be quite challenging. This can be especially true when working towards a degree in education. Not only do you want to choose something that is unique and will stand apart from other works, you also want to choose a topic that is interesting enough to you that you can stay focused over several months. Here is a list of some of the most interesting thesis topics on education to consider towards your college degree:

  1. Do you believe there is a correlation between a healthy diet and the ability to do well in class? What foods or diets enhance a student’s ability to learn?
  2. Compare and contrast academic success between students who participate in athletics and those who do not. Does a full work load have any effect on students that participate in athletics and those that do not?
  3. Obesity in young children can sometimes last for several years. Do you think this affects a student’s ability to do well in class? Consider things like energy, health, and confidence.
  4. Do you think the choice to take a human sexuality course belongs to students, parents or school administrators? What are the most concerning issues about who the choice belongs to?
  5. Is there evidence to support the belief that unhealthy eating choices such as eating fast food or junk food stem from parents’ examples during a student’s formative years?
